C2B2 Semi-Annual Meeting & Professional Workshop
April 4-5, 2013

C2B2 exists to improve fundamental understanding and develop new technologies in areas relevant to the future commercialization of integrated, sustainable biorefining and biofuels processes. Our center places an emphasis on creating a vertically and horizontally integrated research and training environment, as well as providing for the collaboration of academia, industry, and national laboratories.

Professional Workshop

The biennial C2B2 Professional Workshop will be tied this year with the Spring 2013 Semi-Annual Meeting. The Workshop provides experienced scientists, engineers, and other industry members with exposure to the fundamental challenges, developing technologies, and on-going field innovations. Participants with experience a personal workshop setting and will learn from expert instructors. The Workshop will focus on C2B2's Research Thrust 2: Biochemical Engineering and will feature laboratory demonstrations in University of Colorado's new research facility, the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building (JSCBB).

 

Semi-Annual Meeting

The spring 2013 Semi-Annual Meeting with be held concurrently with the Professional Workshop at the University of Colorado Boulder. Join us for oral presentations from experts from all four C2B2 partner institutions discussing current innovative research. Network with C2B2 principal investigators, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and industry members.
