Undergraduate Education & Training

Our primary level of educational programming has been designed to meet the needs of undergraduate students. Students are encouraged to enhance their own educational goals through the use of C2B2´s specialty educational programming:

• Curriculum Development
  Students interested in curriculum with an energy focus have the opportunity to seek one-on-one educational development from faculty and research experts.


• Summer Research Fellowship Programs
  Each summer C2B2 hosts an annual summer research experience for undergraduates program. Students participating in this program take advantage of C2B2´s unique integrated structure by performing research, and learning from the four partner institutions. • Training Rotations at NREL Laboratories
  C2B2 provides students with the opportunity for unprecedented access to laboratories and training at the National Renewable Energy Laboratories in Golden, Colorado.


• Center Meetings
  Semi-annual C2B2 Meetings foster interaction among academic, industry and national laboratory researchers. These meetings highlight Center-sponsored research as well as future research needs. This setting offers undergraduate students the opportune venue for presenting research and learning directly from contact with research and industry professionals.
