Synergy of Learning

Graduate Education & Training

Our secondary level of educational programming has been designed to meet the needs of graduate students. Students are encouraged to enhance their own educational goals through the use of C2B2´s specialty educational programming:

  • Curriculum Development
Students interested in curriculum with an energy focus have the opportunity to seek one-on-one educational development from faculty and research experts.
  • Graduate Fellowships
C2B2 offers graduate fellowships for top researchers in the biorefining and biofuels areas. Fellowships aim to enable outstanding graduate minds and to enhance innovation. A call for fellowship applicants is solicited annually to Center Principle Investigators and Graduate Research Associates. Center researchers should contact the Center Coordinator for additional information on the graduate fellowship application process and submission requirements.  Click here for more information on the Chevron Graduate Fellowship Program.
  • Training Rotations at NREL Laboratories
C2B2 provides students with the opportunity for unprecedented access to laboratories and training at the National Renewable Energy Laboratories in Golden, Colorado.
  • Center Meetings
Semi-annual C2B2 Meetings foster interaction among academic, industry and national laboratory researchers. These meetings highlight Center-sponsored research as well as future research needs. This setting offers graduate students the opportune venue for presenting research and learning directly from contact with research and industry professionals.
