The Colorado Center for Biorefining and Biofuels supports a symbiotic relationship for the evolution of renewable bioenergy research.

The Center´s diversity seeks to promote innovation among our six main research thrusts: Feedstock Engineering, Plant Biotechnology and Crop Science; Biochemical Engineering; Thermochemical Engineering; Process Engineering; Product Engineering; and System Assessment and Analysis.

The C2B2´s four partner institutions uphold strengths in these research thrusts and encompass specialized facilities and personnel to advance the Center´s objectives.
